2017 - Scandinavia by Bicycle

Cycle: 38 km - Total so far: 1,480 km Start time: 8am Stop time: 4pm Weather: dull with a couple of early showers but some nice sunny periods later, 14 to 19deg The earliest we could have breakfast was 8am (being a Sunday) so it was a compulsory late start for us. We wanted to do a local ride today but the weather was not that nice. However due to it being our last full day in Sweden we persisted and went anyway. A heavy shower saw us ducking for cover not far north of the city. From then on, other than the cool breeze and some clouds it was fairly nice; well by Scandinavian standards anyway. We ended up at a couple of little seaside villages, Domsten and the furthest being Viken. The former had a very old Holland-style windmill on the outskirts while the latter was blessed with the prettiest and best maintained church you'd see anywhere.
