Day 25: Thu 3 Aug: Karlstad to Karlskoga
Cycle: 92 km - Total so far: 1,071 km Start time: 8:25am Stop time: 3:45pm Weather: mostly overcast but no rain, 13 to 22deg We shared the breakfast room with a couple of busloads of Chinese, however it's a big place so was not a problem at all. Apart from Greg riding off without his panniers, (about 20m) we got away okay and were soon on a nice bike path. In order to avoid busy roads, we had to do a few more km than originally planned. Sometimes it's hard to make a final decision on the best route until you're actually on the ground. We certainly had some variation in the track surface, from cycle highways to forest tracks but none of the numerous options were rough. Although the hills weren't that steep they sometimes went on for a while. We were all a little tuckered out by the time we arrived at the hotel.
