Day 11: Thu 20 Jul: Frederikshaven
Cycle: 34 km - Total so far: 453 km Start time: 8am Stop time: 4pm Weather: fine and sunny (despite the forecast of thunderstorms) We had a little sleep in until 7am due to it being a rest day. Breakfast of eggs, cereal, fruit, lashings of coffee and toast was far too much for a non-cycling day; but it was there, so we ate it. First off, we (just the two of us) headed north and found ourselves at a man-made beach complete with potted palm trees; how tacky. However, the nearby marina with its crystal-clear waters and cute cabins was wonderful in the early morning light. We then stumbled across this post-card perfect graveyard and church, which was the cleanest, neatest, most manicured one we'd ever seen. Can you judge people on how they look after their deceased?
