Day 37: Tue 15 Aug: Linkoping to Jonkoping
Cycle: 13 km - Total so far: 1,437 km Start time: 8:30am Stop time: 2:30pm Drive: 165km Weather: fine, clear and cool to start with, 5.9 to 23deg As we only have to drive a 100 km or so today we were able to take our time over breakfast and then have another wander around this interesting city. The Cathedral opened at 9am so we were there shortly after. This immaculately maintained church is over 800 years old however there's been a place of worship there since the 11th century. The size certainly matches most cathedrals in Europe at over 100m long with a tower over 100m high it's imposing. The inside is just as impressive. First stop on the drive was a seemingly insignificant little place called Motala which turned out to be a real gem. The marina was really pretty in the bright sunshine and the we found a museum nearby. Mick and Kate decided to go in and so we joined them.
