Day 40: Fri 18 Aug: Helsingborg

Start time: 7:15am Stop time: 4pm Weather: very dull with glimpses of sun, 14 to 19deg After breakfast Greg walked back to Hertz and dropped the car keys off and walked back via the ferry office to check timings for our trip back to Denmark on Sunday. He found another very helpful lady at that office; must be his youthful good looks?! Back to the hotel to check out what to do and meet up with Mick and Kate who had gone off in the opposite direction to drop off their car. After coffee in our room we all wandered out through a beautifully manicured flower garden next door to the Hotel (our room overlooks it) and in the grounds of the City Keep. Quite an impressive looking stairway and combination water fountain lead down to the city centre. The City Hall, resplendent in its Gothic design, alas was not available for an internal viewing by us common folk. We then had a sticky beak around the underground railway station which seemed to have the longest platforms any of us had ever see...
